Dr Deepak Davis is a highly sought-after consultant psychiatrist who has trained here in Perth. After obtaining his medical degree from the university of Western Australia (UWA) in 2010, Dr Davis began his career in Psychiatry and has worked across many settings in mental health including public inpatient and outpatient roles, youth services, non-governmental organisations, and the private sector.
Along with his current positions in youth early psychosis intervention with Headspace and perinatal consultation-liaison for Osborne Park hospital, Dr Davis is a senior clinical lecturer at UWA, sits on the Royal Australian and New Zealand collage of Psychiatrist WA subcommittee for Adult Psychiatry and actively takes a role in mental health research.
Dr Davis provides medical leadership for Reach Life and provides supervision and advice to our team in understanding and managing complex psychiatric and clinical challenges. He currently provides direct clinical review for existing Reach Life clients on a limited basis following internal referral and case discussion.
Dr Davis has a relaxed and easy-going approach, which lends itself to his work with young people and families. Dr Davis has a strong foundation in working within complex settings. He enjoys working across the lifespan and with families to create meaningful change. Dr Davis sees clients from age 15 and up.
