Laura is passionate about helping people achieve their potential and overcome challenges in their lives. She is warm, genuinely cares about people, and provides a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe to share, and work through challenges in a collaborative way.
Laura has degrees in both counselling and social work and has worked in case management and counselling roles for over a decade. She started her career working in the areas of unemployment and homelessness/family domestic violence, and has worked as a clinical counsellor since 2017, working in both office based and outreach roles, “meeting people where they are at” – an ethos she continues to take with her in her clinical work. Laura specializes in working with children and young people aged 4-25, however enjoys working across the lifespan, including with older adults. Laura has worked in senior/clinical lead roles in NGOs and provides clinical supervision as a part of her work.
