Zosia (pronounced Zosh-a) is a 4+2 provisional psychologist, undertaking her psychology internship part-time since May 2022. She has a Bachelor of Science (Psychological Science) from UWA, and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology from Murdoch University. She has experience in various Not-for-Profits in the mental health and NDIS spheres, including organisations supporting youth and adult mental health, autism, and disability employment. She most enjoys working with presentations of neurodivergence /or trauma.
“I was always fascinated by how humans work. At 18, upon doing some psychology units in first year uni and loving them, starting to volunteer in schools, and becoming more attuned with social justice issues, I switched from studying human biology to psychology and never looked back. As a psychologist I love building positive therapeutic relationships, helping clients to better understand themselves, and allowing them to feel seen and heard. My own lived experiences of multi-exceptionality and late-diagnosed ADHD and autism give me a rich set of traits and skills, and I think, a greater ability to understand many of my clients.”
Zosia is passionately neuroaffirming, person-centred, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ allied. She brings warmth, authenticity, validation, and an environment of non-judgment to the therapy room, supporting her clients to develop self-insight, self-compassion, and autonomy, and live according to their needs and values.
