Kylie is a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with 20+ years’ experience. She has worked primarily in acute hospital settings with experience in Neurosciences, Neurosurgery, Burns, Trauma, Lymphoedema, Heart and Lung Transplant, Geriatrics and Hand Therapy. With extensive experience in inpatient mental health. Kylie has a strong passion for group work ranging from creative expression, through art to discussion groups incorporating DBT, CBT and life skills.
Kylie also loves making connections on a 1:1 basis and thrives on people seeing their true self-worth and potential. Kylie believes whole heartedly that we can create a rich, full and meaningful life, guided by our values while accepting and pain that inevitably go with it.
Kylie is also very interested and open to learning new skills. Happy to work with any age range and any diagnosis. She has four young children (10,11,12 & 13) and have some understanding and a passion to work with kids.
When Kylie is not at work you will find her with her family, either by the ocean or in rural country. She loves activities she hopes will create lifelong memories for her children to reminisce on in years to come. Kylie also enjoys cooking at home and watching the odd footy game and movie. Making the most of a rare quiet weekend.
