Nadia is a registered Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) from Edith Cowan University. She has worked across diverse clinical areas, including vocational rehabilitation, community mental health, and disability support.
In vocational rehabilitation, Nadia supported clients to build confidence, restore work-related function, and return to meaningful employment after illness or injury. She has also worked in regional Western Australia, where she provided therapy services in Geraldton which deepened her understanding of the challenges faced by people living in rural communities and strengthened her commitment to accessible, person-centred care.
Nadia has over three years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker, where she developed strong skills in communication, advocacy, and supporting people with neurodivergence and complex needs to live independently and meaningfully. Nadia has a strong understanding of the NDIS and can assist clients and families to navigate this often-complex system, linking them with supports that enhance wellbeing, and everyday functioning.
Nadia’s practice is warm, creative, and collaborative. She believes that building trust and authentic relationships is at the heart of effective therapy. Her approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, neurodiverse-affirming and tailored to meet each person at their own pace and level of readiness.
Nadia often integrates creative and sensory-based methods into her work, using art, movement, and play to help clients explore experiences that words alone can’t capture. She has particular skills and experience in working with neurodivergent teens and adults, as well as individuals experiencing trauma, emotional dysregulation, burnout, and identity or life transitions. Nadia is passionate about helping people reconnect with what is meaningful to them, supporting purposeful engagement in daily life.
Having migrated to Australia, Nadia personally understands how navigating new environments, life changes and cultural differences can reshape one’s identity and sense of belonging. This insight underpins her passion for supporting clients through life transitions by helping them to rediscover purpose, joy, and confidence in who they are becoming. Outside of work, Nadia enjoys dancing, painting, and attending improv classes, where she embraces creativity and spontaneity. She also values quality time with loved ones and believes connection is essential to wellbeing. Nadia can be described as genuine, down-to-earth, and relatable. She is someone who brings humour, honesty, and heart to every session.
