Meet Tracey, one of our mental health occupational therapists. Tracey utilises a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy, hoping to provide all individuals with genuine care and support. She focuses on supporting individuals in developing a deeper understanding of themselves, building self-compassion, and developing skills to address their mental health concerns, supporting them in making meaningful changes in their lives.
Tracey has been a qualified mental health occupational therapist since 2020. Over this time, Tracey has had experience working across diverse settings, including inpatient, outpatient, community, and youth mental health services. Throughout her career, Tracey has gained experience with dialectical behaviour therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and family-based treatment. She has experience working with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, providing both individual and group psychotherapy. A self-confessed “therapy nerd”, Tracey takes pride in her commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest advancements in mental health care.
On her days off, Tracey enjoys listening to live music, travelling with her partner, trying out new brunch spots, and knitting.
